CORE Philly 2008 "Send Off to College" Rally

The CORE Philly Scholarship Program in conjunction with Congressman Chaka Fattah and Mayor Michael Nutter will be conducting a rally for potential 2008 CORE Philly scholars at City Hall (Dilworth Plaza) on Friday, June 27th beginning at 2:00 PM. This rally is to celebrate the over 3,000 potential CORE Philly awardees that will be attending college this upcoming academic year.

The rally will take place at City Hall’s Dilworth Plaza (1400 JFK Blvd., NW corner of City Hall). Please free to join us. CORE Philly applicants can RSVP by calling 877-CORE-PHL.

2008 FAFSA Completion Days

If you need to complete a 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) you can receive assistance in completing the form.

CORE Philly in conjunction with the School District of Philadelphia, PHEAA and MEE Productions are sponsoring "FAFSA Completion Days." 

Additionally, after completing the FAFSA, a qualified applicant may complete a CORE Philly Scholarship application.

Apply for an Electronic Signature to complete the FAFSA »

The Personal Identification Number (PIN) is used to complete and make changes to the Free Application for Federal Student aid (FAFSA).  It is also used as an electronic signature for completing the FAFSA.  The applicant and a parent should have file for a PIN.  It usually takes 2-6 weeks to receive a PIN so apply as earlier as possible.
